Coffee, much like the smell of the fresh sea, is an exhilarating experience that many cherish as one of the first they start their day with every morning; as founder Taylor Perkins went on a search for a great cup of coffee one morning in his hometown of York Beach, he realized that the surfing community and those who enjoyed the beach in the early hours of the day had to drive nearly half an hour to get a great cup.

Daybreaker Coffee Company was born from the pure love of morning coffee that we cherish in our own morning routine; when we’re tossing the wetsuit and board in the car, so are we tossing our thermos full of the most ripping and refreshing beans we have found across continents. You won’t find a better, more exciting coffee in southern Maine!

Daybreaker Coffee pours our favorite beans from Intelligentsia and after some of the most rigorous research of the perfect espresso, we landed on them and have poured their beans now for nearly two years.
